Together is a coalition that everyone is invited to join.

From individuals and community groups to the UK’s best known businesses and organisations.

Our aim is to build kinder, closer and more connected communities by bringing people together and bridging divides.

Our Core Work

Mass Participation Campaigns

Harnessing the strength of our coalition, we build campaigns that unite millions in moments of shared purpose and connection. Over the past 5 years, we have mobilised hundreds of organisations across civil society, faith, business, youth, local government, and the media – delivering some of the UK’s most successful civic campaigns, from VE Day 80 (17.2m participants) to The Big Help Out (7.2m)

Wider Cohesion Work

Our wider cohesion work focuses on strengthening the social fabric of everyday Britain — from rapid coordination in times of crisis to building partnerships that help communities bridge divides and foster lasting connection. Through initiatives such as Together for Humanity, the Cohesion Risk Forum, and our capacity-building programmes, we bring organisations together to share insights, respond to tensions, and co-create solutions that build resilience and unity across the country.

Secretariat to the Independent Commission on Community & Cohesion

We’re driving a national effort to strengthen community and cohesion through the Independent Commission on Community & Cohesion, co-chaired by Rt Hon Sir Sajid Javid and Jon Cruddas MP.

As Secretariat, we bring together research, expert insight, and voices from every community to shape a shared vision for how Britain can live well together.
